Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture
Chinese Medicine is a scientific system that views the body as a whole, dynamic organism and that sees symptoms as the body's attempt to find balance. It offers a unique approach to diagnosis that leads directly to treatment with a variety of modalities, including acupuncture, herbal medicine, nutritional therapy, and lifestyle guidance. At its heart, Chinese medicine believes in the body's innate intelligence and desire to achieve health.
Acupuncture is a minimally invasive medical intervention that treats the root causes of symptoms by regulating the nervous, immune, circulatory and organ systems. It prompts the body to let go of barriers that have gotten in the way of physiological integration.
Chinese Herbal Medicine is a complex and personalized approach to the treatment of dis-ease with combinations of herbs called formulas. Formulas address root patterns that give rise to symptoms, and reorient the body's systems to function more optimally.
