Adrian Farrell, LMT

Deep Tissue Massage Specialist

Adrian provides present, embodied, deeply therapeutic and incredibly satisfying bodywork with a focus on structure, body mechanics, and targeted deep tissue techniques. His approach integrates firm, consistent compression with precise treatment methods to address the primary imbalances in soft tissue, to promote lasting change. Using a variety of techniques, postural assessment, and range of motion, he works with clients managing chronic tension patterns, acute injuries, overall wellness goals or just wanting to feel incredible!

An essential part of Adrian’s work is finding the right depth and pressure for each individual — a balance that allows for both meaningful therapeutic results and a deeply satisfying experience. Every human body has a unique capacity to receive pressure, and many people require a significant depth in order to experience profound satisfaction, with real relief and lasting change. Adrian’s work is grounded in the ability to attune to this full spectrum — from highly sensitive systems to those that require deeper work. He believes that effective bodywork happens when pressure is not only just right for you, but skillfully applied — responsive to the body’s feedback, nervous system, and tissue readiness. This nuanced approach creates space for authentic release without overwhelm, supporting both relaxation and recovery. Finding the right depth for every body is a collaborative process — one that relies on mutual trust and honors the client’s agency to speak up, ask for what they need, and stay connected to their own experience throughout the session.

A lifelong athlete, Adrian understands the physical demands of high-intensity performance, drawing from personal experience in skiing, track sports, swimming, and weightlifting. With over 30 years of dedicated meditation practice, he brings deep attentiveness to each session, inviting clients into present-moment, somatic awareness. His training in Compassionate Communication through Love Coach Academy and mindfulness counseling via Hakomi Somatic Psychotherapy further enhances his holistic approach. Outside the studio, he enjoys cycling in Portland, hiking with his wife, cold plunging, and meditating alongside his cats.
